The Legacy Society family is growing.
Nancy F. and Kenneth Robbins
Becoming a member of The Legacy Society was an easy choice for Nancy F. Robbins. Over 50 years ago, her mother was one of the five young mothers whose efforts ultimately helped create The Association. “I am so impressed with what they’ve become, from what I remember as a very grassroots, neighborhood program. It’s wonderful! People living in their communities, having jobs. All these wonderful things, and all because of this organization.”
Paul Tardif:
For more than thirty years, The Association has been helping Paul Tardif’s now adult son, Stephen, experience his daily challenges and victories with dignity, humor, and affection and providing the around-the-clock support he needs because of health issues. “We all worry about what’s going to happen when we’re no longer here. This is a good organization and I’m hoping that it continues another fifty years.”
Judge Sidney and Pudsie Cooley:
The Association has played an important role in the life of retired Judge Sid and his wife Pudsie Cooley’s adult daughter, Debbie. Today she is a happy, working, taxpaying homeowner in her own community who keeps her own checking account, does her own shopping, and gets wherever she needs to go on the bus. “We were interested in showing our appreciation for what they did, and we realized it wasn’t going to hurt anyone in our estate.”
